Paleo Onion Soup Mix

Picture
Before going paleo and gluten-free, I used onion soup mix for a lot of different things. I never once used it to make soup now that I think about it, but I always had it on hand by the boxes in my pantry. My biggest use for it was my famous meat loaf, which by the way, I successfully paleo-ized. I will be posting the recipe this week, so stay tuned. Any who, this is a very simple recipe, and it tastes like the same garbage I used to buy, but without out all the... Ya know, garbage.

Ingredients:
- 3/4 Cup Dried, minced onions
- 4 tsp Parsley flakes
- 3 tsp Onion powder
- 2.5 tsp Turmeric
- 2 tsp Celery salt
- 1/2 tsp Freshly ground black pepper

Directions:
Mix all the ingredients in a glass jar or spice container. I just mix by shaking the jar until even. That's it! 4 Tbls for 1 envelope of onion soup mix, or to taste. Shake before each use to ensure everything's mixed up well. Store in a dry place, just as with all spices.

I was out of Onion & Herb Mrs. Dash, which I use for everything, and thought about just using onion soup mix instead. That's what prompted my search for your recipe, and it is just exactly what I want. The mix is now in a shaker with my salt and pepper. I'd send a picture if I could. Thanks!
